Mine shows full immediately after fill up...as soon as I get back in the car and turn the ignition on.

Mine too, although I have had cars that did that. Usually it was older cars that had a sticky float or bad sending unit.

(well, technically it will show the oil gauge first for about a minute, then show the gas gauge on full)
