They do make a set of threaded sockets that thread themselves on to the OD of the wheel lock as you try to remove the wheel bolt.

I had to use a set to remove a wheel after a ham handed tire tech used an impact to torque my wheel bolts on.

They work great but it is a B***H getting the socket off the wheel bolt after it has been removed from the wheel.
