Why didn't you get official Porsche 986 lettering?

I originally bought these for the batwing as an experiment, but thought they may look good on the rear lid, also.
Not a fan of the cursive script style letters/numbers and the only "986" (968) that I've found are available in black only. I thought that would probably clash.

I'm going to use the university's 3D printer and/or water jet, I think. If you want it done right...
Scheduling time on them may take a while, though.

Hey, those numbers might make a great cap. Glue them to the front of an otherwise blank cap.

After looking at it for a while, I think it may look good (better?) on the right side of the dash under the trim.

But I think I'll stick with the batwing.

IMHO, they look best centered on the trunk.

They're too big on the batwing, they dominate the space. Unless that's what you're going for.
