Wash + 3-5 coats of black PlastiDip = looks like new.

Some look really smooth and shinny, like the car body; is that from filling and sanding the bumperrettes ?

I disagree. I like the factory Black color. I think the contrast looks good

Agreed. I've never liked the painted bumperettes. They just don't look right.

+1 for automotivetouchup.com. Here's a link to my project. I think they are held on with one bolt on the bottom.

Nice idea and looks good on the black car but seems a little pricey. Unless you paint you still end up with a black area that stands out.

I for one am glad I had the bumperettes when someone hit me from behind. The bumperettes saved my bumper from damage.

Yes rear bumperette removal plate but I made my own. I bought a piece of black ABS plastic and made a template out of cardboard. Took it to a place that cuts glass and had them cut it for me.

I would never have thought to plasti dip , someone should do 101 plasti dip projects .
