The pill in our keys is just a simple oscillator. If you generate the right frequency right near the ignition and pick the lock, the car will start.

Easy to hotwire a car

all you do is pull the lose plastic panel down and two wires with stripped bare ends will be there....just twist them together and the car will start.......have you guys not seen movies ???

I always wondered about the steering wheel lock ???

Well if you pick the ignition, our old coot car steering lock will release. Newer cars electronically lock and unlock.
