I agree with emore93.... shop around and find an aluminum (white) faced 2002/2004 996 cluster and install one of those. I did it and it was a tad over $500 all in as a DIY project.
Could you send me a photo of your 996 cluster? as well as a link from ebay lets say....

this fits 100% BUT what do they mean that the cluster has 110 k miles? will show the cluster milage or mine milage?
