Red Wine Stain Removal

Hey guys,

Long story here, but I was at an event with a fellow forum member in Ohio last weekend and my friend ended up falling into the interior of car and had a pretty blow out with the glass of red wine he was drinking. Fortunately the wine spill stayed off my dash and new floor mats, but it got a lot of other places in the interior. The carpet along the bulk head where the engine access panel is probably took the worst of the spill... however immediately after the spill we removed the panel and took it in to the bar at the hotel to have them hit with some club soda to minimize the staining; plus my friend was out of wine at that point.

Do any of you guys have experience removing red wine stains from car interiors? Any tricks of the trade?? I think I got most of it but I keep finding patches here and there. God that stuff went everywhere...

Thanks!
