The 911 had a flat 6. The 912 had a flat 4 cylinder out of the VW bus.

Arena Red with a hardtop.
antny and I were about to buy it as a partnership-project and pick it up. The seller suddenly changed his story and said he decided to return it to the auction lot for a refund

1997 base model 986. 203k DD recently converted from arctic silver to Viper Green(225). The only thing anyone said about it so far was, "that is not a period correct color for a Boxster".

I've seen you on woodruff road.
I was puzzled by the color for sure but it looks pretty good, particularly in the wet, (it was that day.)
Yeah I saw your post and thought, I've seen a vibrant green 986 and I didn't think it was factory then checked your bio and saw you were from S.C. I'd say it looks pretty good!

Thanks! You are very kind. This color is Porsche factory issue from the 1972-73 911. I saw it first on the 2015 Boxster at Porsche Exclusive. I have actually find a few other 986 models that are now this color too.

So where you going to college, Jake? The state only, if you don't feel comfortable telling us the school.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
You might not know yet, I'm still trying to figure that one out.

Clemson, double major in marketing and management. Considering economics.
I hope to get my MBA not long after, however depending on how i feel after my undergrad I may go into law school as marketing works as a pre req.
I still technically have a year left in high school but I've only got 2 classes, this leaves me with a lot of time to get college basics done at a local tech college.
I will be going in to Clemson 2016 fall with 30 credit hours under my belt.
I hope to do corporate marketing some day, brand strategy and such, however, I am keeping my mind open.
30 on act with a 35 on science.
And 1260 on my sat first attempt.
4.7 gpa. Fingers crossed, this should get me accepted quite fine.

That's an excellent plan, there are nice fluffy corporate jobs for those degrees. Skip the economics, there's no jobs there. A friend of mine has an MBA from Wharton and a doctorate in economics from Harvard and the only job she could find is a lecturer (not even a professor) at a fancy university. Which pays almost nothing. Pretty poor ROI, in my opinion.
As for marketing, here is some advice based on experience; don't believe everything the focus groups tell you, they lie.
If you haven't already taken AP statistics, I suggest you do. At the college level statistics is a monster, but the AP course is supposed to be well organized.

69 and earlier 912s had the 616 356 engine. The 1976 912 had the VW Type 4 from the VW 412/411, Porsche 914 and buses.

Thanks for the advice! I finished my first tech class last night and will be finishing my second later this week. So far I am preferring college classes to high school courses.
For anyone here with kids in the late middle and early highschool age, I can't suggest ap classes enough, they are far more preparatory then anything else I have taken.
