What size are you running in the rear? What tires are you considering?
In general, reducing the stagger (front width closer to the rear width) will reduce understeer/increase oversteer. This is generally good - up to a point.
This is my experience on various sized tires (17" wheels, with 255 rears);
205 front - lots of understeer
225 front - understeer
235 front - more balanced but still understeer
245 front - not tested
255 front - oversteer (larger wheels/needs adj sway bars to balance to neutral)
