Exclamation LED tail lights

Has anyone installed the DEPO LED tail lights on their Boxster? I installed them and connected the outer ones (fog)so that they would come on with the brake lights. For some reason they only come on the second time the pedal is depressed. I have had two auto electricians look at it and they cant work it out. Doesnt seem like resistors work and the strange thing is that the lights work correctly on thebenck but as soon as they are in the car they only work by pressing the pedal twice.

Mine do the same. I tried the resistors also but to no avail. Take a look at this thread, same problem.

I saw this issue so I just turned the fog location LED to my turn signals. I know that mod works

Thanks - unfortunately in Australia the turn indicators have to be orange not red. What seems strange is that the lights work out of the car but when in place they don't function consistently. Are there any electronic savy people that might know why?

Did you connect the fog LED's in series or parallel to the brake LED's? Try changing that.

I would not think that makes a difference. Do you have these lights? I would think they are parallel but will check with auto electrician.

Attitude? Arent we being a little sensitive? If this is a theoretical suggestion then I need to find out. I would suggest you just mind your own business.
