Herr Oberst Registered User Join Date: Sep 2013 Location: Louisville, KY USA Posts: 6	Dyeing a Boxster top? Hey everyone! Got a question that is kind of nagging at me a little bit. I have a '99 base Boxster with a very faded grey top. I was thinking of dyeing the top black. Now I have a couple of questions about possibly doing it: 1. One, I cannot tell what kind of top, vinyl or canvas. 2. Will any kind of dye "bleed" through the top? 3. has anyone done this and can give feedback? I have seen pics of Arctic Silver Boxsters (which I have) with black tops and they look outstanding. So I figured I ask here and see if anyone had any input about it!
