Interesting thread. Here in Europe, with the ever intrusive EU and it's desire to spread 'socialism', for the benefit of society 'from the atlantic to the urals' the rise is classic car ownership has been exponential..

Not only because with interest rates in the bank, earning you nothing, so you're better off having money in a classic car the even just holds its value, but also becuase new car owners are invaribaly finding that everything has to go back to a main dealer to be plugged onto a propietary sofware system to be diagnosed for waht ever fault it may have.. can't get the key out of the ignition.. main dealer to diagnose the sensor failure, $6,000 for a new steering rack, than you very much..

.. so going back to old school mechanics, with MG's, 1970's - 1980's porsches, BMW's Mercedes etc etc, involves tuning with a timing light, distributor rotor arms, plugs etc..

People are getting fed up with being ripped off, so going 'old skool' !
