UK Survey says Bentley and Porsche Are Least Reliable

Read all about it.

Sure, the price of repair was factored into the ratings so almost all luxury (i.e., expensive) brands were pushed towards the bottom due to the expense of repairs.

However, I'm not sure if that alone can entirely explain Porsche's second to last finish overall; 8 places behind BMW and 4 places behind Mercedes.

Bentley, Porsche cars less reliable than inexpensive rivals, UK survey shows

High performance demands a lot of maintenance. Accept it and be rewarded. Jazz drivers need not apply.

I agree with what Porsche stated. That's a very small sample. JD Powers does it right.

In light of this survey, however, Porsche released a statement stating that it provided "just one snapshot of British consumer experience," adding that in bigger consumer markets, the results are different. For instance, the automaker told CNBC in an email that for the 10th year running, J.D. Power's APEAL survey ranked Porsche highest among new car buyers, in the U.S.
I bought my Boxster with zero knowledge of the cars history and no PPI because you just don't here about Porsche having a reliability issue here in the states and they do get consistently ranked at the top for quality.

Interesting. Porsche does pretty well with Consumer Reports.
