Thats a bad ass ride. Well you know what they say, "You only buy a Boxster cause you can't afford a 911"... Eventually we all want one that thats a really nice example. They just look so much better in convertable than the box does.

Have fun!

Sweetness!

That's a fabulous-looking car. (Those options, except for the phone, are probably the best ones, if you had to choose.) Don't forget your Boxster brethren...and enjoy your, uh, back seats!

That's funny because i have never liked any previous 911s in cab form until the latest 997 cab. All previous cab models look like sports coupes with the tops cut off as an afterthought, whereas the Boxster looks more sleek and thoughtfully designed. There are many people who can afford the 911, but prefer the Box because of the look / design over previous 911 cabs.

can't wait until its my turn to post pix of my new 911, but rather than trading in my Boxster, I'll hang on to it - ya know, sentimental value, your first Porsche, etc etc. Very nice Carmos - drive it like it was designed to be driven!!!

I think the 911 cab's top blends better with the rest of the car body than the Boxster does in my opinion. It looks like it flows better, the Boxster's top looks more upright. The car looks great, congrats!

My kids or kids that I have in future will be my excuss to add a 911 to my collection of cars "Well I couldnt fit little blinkwatt and the wife both in the Boxster so I needed the back seats that the 911 offers."

Ever tried to fit a car seat

in the back of a 911? Heresy, but you'll need a Panamera for Little Blinkwatt...

Carmos-

That's a beautiful car. I love the convertible top.
Wish I had a 911.
Enjoy it!

It's so funny the amount of different opinions you'll hear on this one. I personally don't like 911's and there's a lot of people that don't like the cabriolet, so it's hard to make blanket statements like this.

Nice car Carnos, hope it treats you well!

i just got back from las vegas... i really had a chance to open her up..and owe boy...there is a highway just north of vegas called the 93..myself and freind took it up there and WOW...i had taken the box up there before and i got it up 157. i ran out of space and courage to go any faster..this time i got the 997 to 165 ...the big differnce for me was in the box it felt like i was going really fast, with all the good and bad that goes along with that feeling.in the 997 it felt like i was going alot slower than in the box but was at 165...its kind of weird in a good way..i really love my new cab...thanks again to all
