How many pilots on here?

Hi, I am a Student Pilot currently taking flying lessons at a local flight school in NJ. I am interested to see how many other Boxster owners on here currently fly for work/leisure or even plan to in the future? My father was a Pilot(Military) and I moved base-to-base all my life so I guess I sort of had it in my blood. It was my dream to fly for the military as well but my weak eyes were a disqualification. My dream now is to live on an air park and fly as much as I want and maybe eventually instruct to make my living. It seems likeit will be a few years before I can do that. :)

Chime in.

I have my private pilot and my glider pilot license.

I spent 23 years in the USAF as a navigator on the KC-135R; the big air refueling jet. Along the way I spent 5 of those years as a liaison officer to the US Army in a close-air support/air liaison officer role. I've seen the world from one end to the other.

Now that I'm retired I work as a range control officer on a joint-use Air Force/Army bombing range. I'm still around military aircraft everyday.

I couldn't have had a better career.

student pilot here, 15 hrs not yet solo'd, but ready. I fired my last CFI. Currently flying a C-150, but have been in C-120, C-170, and a PA-28. I love the C-150 by far the most. I like to hop off my Busa and step into a 150. Yea, life is good.

I thought I was on the Hayabusa forum. Correction: I like to step out of my Boxster, and into a C-150 :)

Private -multi engine- floats. 0360 powered Glastar taildragger + Aerocet 2200 floats. Boxster spent the winter in the hangar with the Glastar-nestled next to the floats.

Single engine commercial, multi engine private, instrument airplane. Unfortunately I don't fly anymore. No time. Became an air traffic controller instead.

Does RC Count ?

I had to ask :)

Commercial single and multi, CFII

My job is flight deck design.

After a lapse in flying I am back at it, this time just for fun

My passion is mountain flying

PPL SEL around 150 hours, mostly C-152 and C-172 and around 30 hours in a Zenair CH-701.

Lots of fun but the last time I went up was around 2003.

Never ask a man if he's a pilot! If he is, he'll let you know. If he's not, you don't want to embarrass him...
Private pilot, everything from a Pitts to a Baron. Learned basic aerobatics in a Citabria then moved up to RV-4s, followed by a Marchetti SF260. Love low and fast, high and upside down.

Side note, these Porsches feel like Pilots cars.

Just helicopters. Preferably at night in dark, vacant air.

I am scared of birds, but I think they are more scared of me.

Oddly enough I always had an interest in the Air Force, but my build and desire to be a somewhat viable family man has steered me away.

Regardless I want a private license, any suggestions on at what age i should begin pursuing this?

As a side note the band teacher at school used to have a boxster and now has a cayanne GTS and an air cooled 911, he is an Apache pilot in the guard.
