I love the look of that Bumper, a friend of mine got one, and after he had it installed he started overheating and had a big spin at Sebring when some coolant burped out and got under his back tires. He had his shop try some different things to get more air to the radiators, and ultimately had to go back to stock in order to solve it... I wonder if there are some different scoops like from the C4 or the anniversary edition 996 that could be used to channel the air to the radiators efficiently.

I like the look but would not add it to my car as I'm not a huge fan of making a car look like something it's not. No disrespect intended to anyone who goes that route...personal taste.

2000 S with 4,540 miles. If only I had a glass showcase big enough. I hope that one gets displayed and preserved - in about any other case, I'd say put some miles on it and enjoy it. Wonder what the story is?

First time I've seen those wheels but not a fan. Look like wheel covers you can get at Pep Boys.

Essentially a brand new first gen 986S with IMS upgrade for $28K? Maybe $25K with a little haggling? In a desirable color with showroom quality interior?

IMHO, worth every penny.

Apparently those wheels are the schizzle for PCA Spec Boxster racing, as they are the lightest OEM 17 inch wheels. I don't care for the look of them for a street car either, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and someone who buys that car should at least keep them to preserve authenticity even if the new owner drives it with something else.
