European Auto Surgeons in Gardiner, they have attended one of Jakes courses, they have worked on my car, they have a PST2 diagnostic tester and I wouldn't hesitate trusting them with my car. I don't feel the same about the nearby dealer.

What was your independent shop's comment on the cam deviation?

I took it to Autowerks in Freeport they used to be in Gardner. They have serviced my BMW's for years and I have always trusted them. Every time I go there he has 2-3 P cars on the lift. Voit is the owner and his take on it was to drive it and check the deviation regularly. When and if it changes, then take action. When they changed the oil (7-8K miles on it) there was no evidence
of any plastic or metal in the filter(spread out and examined with magnifier and magnet). He had me watch as he examined it.
