The only potential regret I could have had (but luckily did not) is purchasing a base over the S. A friend of mine introduced me to Boxsters and he owned a base. Don't get me wrong, fun car to drive and it is what sold me on starting the hunt for one.
When I went searching to purchase a Boxster, I luckily ended up buying an S. And after having driven both, I imagine I would have regretted getting a base model. So, if you can find one and can spend a little bit more, the S model is definitely worth it... IMHO
