I was 22 when I bought mine, 25 now. I think 17 might take it. The teenage girls running around in cars the parents bought don't really count :P

Well, I guess I'm 3rd from oldest so far: 65. Retired at 57 (after teaching 7th graders for 27 years) and haven't regretted a minute. Still ride motorcycles, bird hunt, hike/backpack/mountain climb, mountain bike ride, XC and downhill ski, and sail. Gotta stay fit! Who has time for work :eek:?

Greenville SC... I know a kid our age from there who moved out to oklahoma like 3 years ago.

58 here...bought my first Porsche ('74 914 2.0) in my early twenties. After 35 years, I've owned almost every air cooled 911 variant in a whole range of model years. Got hooked on Boxsters after driving them instructing at PCA DE events, but my last track car was a '73 911 RS tribute...didn't want to beat up the Boxster, though I would take students out for pre-event course runs.

I think most teenagers would likely fall in that category
 

It is not out of the realm of possibility to afford an earlier model assuming they have been working when/where possible and saving, but most teens do not have 10-20k in the bank (not to mention credit) at the time they turn 16 and an expensive car purchase is just as likely to be at least partially financed by mom and dad regardless of gender.

Is this our physical age, or our mental age? Since buying and driving this car, my mental age has decreased significantly!

I was twenty when I purchased my first Porsche. A 1988 944 with a broken timing belt, I was welcomed by the local PCA members and have been hooked since. I was twenty four when I bought my 03 Boxster S with 37,000 km on it ( about 23,000 miles for the Americans here)

I am now 25 with both cars, the boxster has 68,000 km on it and I also have a beautiful fiancée and her three amazing kids. Needless to say I feel very lucky/ fortunate.

Turned 29 yesterday, bought myself an '03 986 for my birthday.

Dunno how you older folk do it, the car feels like it was made for teenagers that are about 5'8" and 140lbs. I'm not far from those measurements and cramped up in this car.

Hmm I am around 6ft and 200 lbs and have no problem in or getting in/ out. I find its all in the technique haha

Well, if we are talking about age at Porsche ownership... I was 15 when I got my first 914 for $550... I could not even drive it for another year back then... :)

5'11" and 165 here, just doesn't feel like i fit anywhere close to right. Steering wheel is in my lap, no leg room, console and door arm rest are way too low for comfort.

But then I get out, turn around, look at it and say "worth it".

Wish this car had the interior of the Z3 I had before it though.

Weird. I'm not a little guy yet have no issues getting in or out of my Box comfortably. And driving it? No issues. Very comfortable car. (except for the aftermarket seat I sit on! Oh, to find a decent real Porsche seat!!)

Oddly enough we just got an Oklahoma implant, kid drives an rx8, he is kind of nice but invites me to things too often for me to care for him.

6 ft 3 160 lbs, fit quite snug and nice, perfect travel to clutch and wheel with seat all the way back, but my feet are too big to operate the pedals in shoes, size 14s don't fit in porsche footwells.

The steering wheel only telescopes and the seat only goes back/forth and reclines.

My old box with power seats and my new box without both have seats that raise and lower.

Not correct, the seat goes up and down too........
