purge? left the bleeder valve open in the back. got it up to temp and drove like I stole it... got a speeding ticket in the process gonna close it tonite. also the old water pump I threw in the trash, no core on the thing. would upload pics, but I can't upload from my phone.

Yeah purging the air bubbles. Good job getting it done. Next time mine gives problems, I'm going to do it myself also. You may know but that the broken blade can clog. Keep a eye out for that. Here is a pic of my old one.

Did you replace that pump because of pulley play? Impeller looks alright

Mine was making a whistling noise. Bearings going perhaps.
