Dumb question, but the HF site says it's for Front Wheel Bearings. Will this kit work on the Rear on our cars?

Any pics from a DIY using this particular set?

Check out post #10.
He mentions a video on You Tube . Search "Bmw wheel bearing harbor freight".
It's very informative, I'm picking up that Horror Freight set next time I head there.

That is the correct kit. I wondered about front vs. rear when I was looking too. I didn't take any DIY pictures, but you should get all the info you need watching this video:

Wheel Bearing Removal with Harbor Freight Universal Tool BMW 3 Series Rear Front - YouTube

Read the reviews on the tool at Harbor Freight's website too. Follow the advice about using lubricant on the threaded rod and washers.

If needed, you also have the perfect opportunity to replace the emergency brake shoes while you are in there.

My tool is on its way in, I got my new bearings in from Pelican yesterday, along with new CV Boots, new grease, lubricant for the 6S manual transmission. My E Brake shoes are in good condition (mine was a Florida car so it never saw a hill in it's early life). I am going to do it all when I have it apart so I don't have to think "I wish I had done this or that....also new Rear control arms.
