Newbie here

Hi all, i found this forum about a week ago and it's been really helpful. Maybe for a title I should have written " Saving the best for last ". Over the past months I've test driven : '06 S2000 ( Super fun but just too little for a daily driver, also big seat- theft prob. here in so. fl. ), '06 350 Z roadster ( Also fun, quick but UGLY rear-end, kinda cheapy looking inside ), Z4 ( Looks not for me ). Last but not least will be the Boxster, I have a good feeling about this one. I'm looking for pretty much a base model Boxster with maybe a few options. I have a few questions: 1. Anyone lease their Boxster? 2. What are the " must have options ", 3. Local dealer has a left over '05 silver/black with 500 mi. options are sport steering wheel, auto air, windstop, SPS. MSRP = $ 47,000, willing to knock $ 6000 off. You think I can do better?? I plan on leasing for 36 mo. Thanks for all your help guys, I'll let u know how the test-drive goes.

I would say the 2 "must have" options are windstop and heated seats. You should be able to purchase that left-over 2005 for 18-20% off MSRP or about $8,460-$9,400 discounted. So, no, I don't think you are being offered a very good deal. Especially considering that it has 500 demo miles on it!

There are a lot of Porsche dealers in Florida. You may want to search for other 2005's and be willing to travel a few hundred miles for a better deal.

I see about 16 left-over 2005's (base and S) in Florida alone. If some of the dealers sites are accurate, there are even some new 2004's available.
