Car won't start after heavy rain

check to see if you had water under the drivers front seat -- that is where the immobilizer resides.

your water collection trays may have been over whelmed -- or maybe they are damaged
and water ran behind your rear carpet and under the seats.

Thanks for the reply. Drains are clog free and nothing under the seat felt wet, I guess I'll pull out the drivers seat so I can get a better look at it!

Fuel or ignition issue since the engine cranks but will not catch.

Did you check all the fuses?

Fuel pump relay has be known to be flakey, above the Fuses.

Open the engine compartment and listen for the fuel pump coming on.

Without some additional diagnostic info it could be a lot of different things.

Shifting, doubt its the IMS or clutch, perhaps shift linkage at the transmission or in the shift console.

Thanks for the reply man! I'll give all of those a check today. And I inspected what I'm positive is the linkage at the transmission and all seemed fine but I'll go back over it. And I wasn't meaning it's the IMS, but if it needs a clutch I'll def be doing the IMS while I'm down there. Hopefully the not starting is just a blown fuse haha

Did you pull the battery tray? The fuel tank access is under the battery tray could you have gotten water in the plug for the fuel pump?
