Close call...TOO close

Nice sunny day so the wife and I took a nice 3 hour ride.We was about half a mile from home when it happened....Going about 20 mph when a GIANT snake crawled across the hood right in front of us..Holy cow..SCARED the crap out of us...hit the brakes and it slid ac ross the hood and windshield and fell off the drivers side fender.I have no idea where it came from as there was nothing for it too fall off.Actually it was about one and a half feet long but when we saw it UP close it was at least 30 feet long. That was an hour ago and I am still shaking.

Garage
Gave me the thought of it sliding up the windsheild and falling down into the cabin if the top was down. . Good thing that did not happen, sounds like quite the fright, and oddly seems like an omen of sorts.

Actually, the truth is coming across or accidentally meeting a snake is a sign of good luck. Go buy a lottery ticket!

I have also had a snake fall from the sky, it was bleeding and stunned from the fall.
It was a rattle snake.

It fell about 50' from me so I saw the source of this flying snake.

A hawk dropped it. I guess it was more than it could handle in flight.

Its common for hawks to catch snakes, but sometimes they drop then and im not sure if thats a method of killing them or just too much squirming and the hawk drops it.
