I just picked this up in the mail today. I got a great deal on the wood horse shoe so I thought I would give it a shot. I know many don't like the wood trim, but here goes.

I'm not sure I like it and may have it covered in leather with stitching down the center or even painted blue to match the center console. I am also thinking of painting the overhead dome light console blue or having it covered in leather with a seam of stitching down the center. I will also be getting one of the dct wheels with the flat bottom, but that's probably in 6 months. I like the shifter and hand brake but any more wood and it seems like it's too much. I may end up just going back to gray and selling it, but I like changing things around every now and then.
Here is some of my inspiration if I paint the interior trim blue. What do you all think of the wood console?
