25% Off Sale - Rear Speaker Kits Included

Got a mailing from Mid America Motorworks (aka Tweeks) today for a 25% off sale, including items already on sale or clearance. As it turns out the rear speaker kit is one of those items... so if you were thinking of doing it... $165 delivered.

Note: you have to go to the home page first to apply the 25% discount code

Yes, this deal is too good to pass up. That price is about half the cost of other competitors like Pelican. You can also call in and mention the code if you don't want to order online.

I probably should have asked this before I placed my order, but will the dealer have any problems installing this brand of speakers for me. I know others in this forum have done it themselves, but I am completely inept.
Has anyone had speakers installed by the dealer? Id like to know a ballpark price.

The dealer should be able to do it without issue, but I have no idea of the price they will charge. The worst that will happen is you can resell the kit on EBay for a profit if you don't like their price quote.

You'd be cheaper off to have a stereo installer do it than the dealer. They'll probably do a better job too.

BuffaloBoxster - You from Buffalo NY? I was a bit concerned about ending up with some college student pulling apart my Porsche if i went to a stereo installer. Im willing to pay a few more bucks to make sure it gets done right but if you are in this area and have someone you have used I would appreciate that. Stereo Advantage maybe?

I personaly think they sound bad. I had a set in my Box but took it out. I do have the two 6 1/2" in each door though. (can someone help me with what option that is?) I will most likly add a small sub in the car.

Where do you plan on putting the sub?
