I've been lurking in the boards for a while and have found a Boxster I'm interested in.
The details are below. I'm curious if there are any suggestions or advice. Thanks in advance.
2003 Boxster S manual 17,500. Has replacement motor do to IMS failure, 33,000 total miles, 7,000 thousand on rebuilt motor. Motor was factory remanufactured,3.2L 04 installed by dealer, bill of 17,946 in 2011. The owner indicates they used a different IMS, but I'm not sure what this consists of.
There was someone else looking at this car and paid for a PPI then tried to lowball the price. I'm getting a copy of the PPI, but it was done at the same dealer, so there is a potential conflict of interest.
