Hey, i just stopped in and saw your thread here Jake, i finally put 2 and 2 together, and realized the guy i was talking to was BIGJAKE ! Congrats, glad the car is going to a young porsche enthusiast. You really ought to come down for the porsche DE day at Robeling road is savannah for some track time with the PCA and Bob Woodman, an excellent instructor--
yep, he's getting a really nice car!! Sad day for me but i have enjoyed my time owning a Boxster, but life dictates that i make a change. I have a '75 914 that i have put so much into that i refuse to get rid of it. i could have sold it and kept this, but you never know down the road, iw ill probably get another at some point. He got a great deal for sure!!
Jake seems like a great kid, pretty good negotiator, in the end it was timing and i know that he will take great care of this car. I was his age when i bought my first sports car, a '69 austin healey that was set up for A/X. It taught me alot about driving, like driving a motorcycle you become a better driver.
I think you will enjoy the 6 speed! great performance and yet good gas milage-
Jake, i will see you tomorrow

For sure, it is a great car. I have been trying to convince the parents to plan the Hilton head trips around track days haha!

Yellow is a good choice. It will make it easier for idiots in trucks to see you and not drive over your new boxster

I believe school policy is setup in a way that I can have his driving privileges revoked, which Is something I will look into going into next year.

I would not be surprised if your car would be vandalized if you take this beyond where it has gone so far like you were suggesting. Mistakes/accidents happen and carrying out a vendetta will not win you any friends.

Compare the car you had, to the car you have. You may want to thank your friend with the pickup truck!

Have fun, be safe, and don't drive like a knucklehead!

98 base with tip to 00 S 6 speed. Still a boxster but a whole new driving experience thanks to a hillbilly in a 4x4 stomper. Nicely done young man.
