Love the inside, not the outside haha. But aside from the paint, if this car was a spyder then it would be the sexiest thing on the road.

Not my cup of tea... after all that still has huge wheel gaps.
And mood lighting interior... gee what are we back in 2005?

One of the things that I have always loved about road-going Porsches is the tendancy towards understated elegance and Teutonic practicality, rather than an overstated design that screams "look at me"! Porsche owners know what the car is capabale of and have no need to advertise it.
Consider the original 356 and even the 55o Spyders - giant killers without the adornments of the contemporary Ferraris, Maseratis and Corvettes. The same was true of the original 911 and, although cars such as the Turbo were extremely racey looking, it would be hard to intstall a large functional rear spoiler with intercooler and flares large enough to increase the track and wheel/tires size without such modifications. Certainly the interior was still very 'conservative'.
And the 986 Boxster - again, a clean, elegant design with strong family connections to the amazing 550 spyder of the 50's.
This car ruins all of that. To me, the diamond-pattern seats look like something from a 1950's hot rod. The 'mood lighting' in the floor areas, as has already been pointed ou,t are dated and, quite frankly, tacky. The stark contasting flat black and bright red may work for some people, but to me, it just looks as if someone was trying too hard to make a Boxster something that it isn't.
Of course, that is the great thing about personal taste and opinions. Everyone is entitled to their own.
Brad

a matte black exterior (stealth) and two-tone leather seats (flashy), especially with embroidery on the head rests, don't really go together.

Polarizing for sure. Personally that is the most unattractive boxster on the inside and outside that I have ever seen. Different strokes

Hmmm, I guess someone liked it. Not my cup of tea but it's part of what makes the world so interesting.

There are definitely some member cars here that would be better looking than that imo...
