				Flat or gloss?

I've decided I am going to paint my 18" turbo twists black. What do most people go with, a flat matte finish or a glossy finish? What's your opinion?

Try glossy on one side and flat on the other. After a few days you'll know.

Flat will for sure not look dirty as fast.

seriously consider PlastiDiping them. Flat is WAY better. Took 3 cans at $6 / can to do all 4 of mine. then $15 on ebay to get caps to dip as well. Plus, if you don't like it after a few months, it peels right off!!

+1 for plasti dip. You can also get plasti dip with glossifier if you want the glossy look. I personally prefer gloss as it makes it look less like a spare tire/wheel.
Make sure if you do go the dip route to either have someone do it for you, or if you do it make sure you go heavy on the coats! Instead of light dry coats like spray paint, you want a slower more wet coat or else peeling off is a PITA later on!

 good luck!

100% sure on Gloss here This is the result of a Powder Coated gloss black(almost satin finish, but more gloss than matte)

(showing off can you tell!)

Flat is better. However, it will depend on you.

I like the gloss. I didnt gloss mine as much a trimer. I did three light coats and they are like a light gloss. Very happy with the result.
