Red side markers?
Someone posted a picture recently of their car with red side markers...does anyone remember who or where? Search yielded zilch.
I can't find any reference to red side markers on a 986. Am I crazy?
Just wanted to take another look out of curiosity. They are illegal anyway
I'm working on some custom side markers because I think I can make something better than current market options, but am having difficulties finding the light that I want to use in amber. That got me thinking about the illegal red side markers
Thanks!

That's what I'm thinking, too
My memory of it is pretty foggy and dream-like...
It was on a red car, BTW. Can't remember if it was a 986, 996, 987, etc.
I think he said they were foreign.

Red side markers are part of the tail lights.
Red markers at front would be illegal

Maybe they were the ones on the Guards Red Boxster that was posted in apicture a few weeks back. The amber lenses looked red - but were not.

I'm thinking on my car the original lenses, headlights, rear tail lights look fine. If I want a newer look, maybe I should by a 2015 Model..

Yeah...
Meanwhile, I've got more orders than I can keep up with
I'm thinking maybe everyone doesn't have the same opinions and that's quite awesome
I wouldn't have it any other way, friend...

Speaking of orders - with all of them, what is your turn around time looking like? I so like those lights, but hate to be without my headlight's for so long. I need to talk myself into it.

Assuming no issues, in-shop time is usually 3 days. Shipping time varies, of course, but I usually tell people to plan on being without their headlights for 2 weeks.
I also encourage people to DIY if they have some experience with modding, but I completely understand that most don't want to risk ruining their headlights (and there are plenty of opportunities to do so during the retrofit if you're not careful).
I need to get my tutorial videos back up soon.

I was actually just looking for the picture just because I couldn't find it and it was bugging me.
Red front side markers are illegal, I was just curious.

I would think that would be ok. That's actually the route that I may go. The lights that I'm using for this top secret mod come in yellow, but not orange, so I was thinking of a red filter.
The side marker would have a clear lens, but the lights inside would be red when off and amber when lit
