1999 Boxster Convertible top problems

I tried to open the convertible top today and it just didn't seem to work. Car was in neutral, handbrake was engaged and the clamshell popped open and the windows went down, but when I pressed the transform button, nothing happened.

I'm not sure if this has any relation to the garage fixing the wiring of the horn, but I do know that the fuse is still good. Is there any way to manually open the top? And how should I go about fixing it?
