987 clutch in a 986?

Working with a 2001 Boxster 2.7 5 speed. So I was told that I can put a 987 clutch in my 986, since I was replacing my clutch anyway, (see previous post), I went on a hunt for a 987 S clutch. I found a Sachs unit, part # K70290-01 which just arrived today, but by looking at it, I am not sure this is the right kit.

Does anyone have any experience in this swap? Did I order the wrong kit? You can see from the pic that the friction disk and plate have obviously less surface material than the original unit, the bearing diameter on the new plate is different too, and the height is taller in the new one as well.
