It creates a bluetooth audio bridge between the aux in and your device. Seems like the most elegant solution to playing music off my phone or tablet through the CDR-220.

Just curious if anyone has one, or has used one, and any comments you have. Not much online about this little box.

Yes, I have that exact unit in my 996 which also has a CDR-220. I installed it myself in about 2 hrs (but I work slow). Sound quality is great. Pairs immediately with my Samsung Galaxy 4 and my wife's iPhone. Highly recommended. I will never ever use a cable again.
