				 Front license mount question

How are those two rubber shaped plugs that the license frame screws into attached to the front bumper? Are they a force fit that just pops in and out with a bit of pressure or is there some kind of screw fastener that holds them in place? Thanks in advance,
  AKL

They are flare anchors. The screw flares the wedges out to retain the mount. Once screw is removed, they just pop out

Thanks large. I want to see if I can turn them upside down to see if the plate will then slant a bit downward. Will let you know if it works.

If anyone needs a front plate mount, I have one (brand new) available for cheap + shipping. Don't mean to highjack, BFWIW.
