The pics were taken at the 2010 Chinese GP, when Bridgestone was sole supplier of race rubber to the F1 teams.

Pirelli took over in 2011, and has been sole supplier since.

Wow Fred, What a great day that must have been. Thanks for sharing all the photos. Would have been worth the 12 hour plane ride to walk the pits.

Back to the real boyz toys. Some more pics. Nothing better than a thread with pics. Porsche related pics

Those are the previous years Cup cars for comparisons. Some of you will enjoy seeing the updates those went during the last year or so I'm sure.

For those who don't know about Cup cars, they are essentially stock gt3 with the exception of the stripped interior. What-you-see-is-what-you-get when buying a gt3 pcar. Not for the faint of heart

Their lap time aren't far behind the F1 cars. (I'd personally rather die than become a passenger in one of these lol). Nice to look at for sure tho

It's when you compare the old cup car with the spanking new one that you realize how Porsche Corp is, ALIVE and HERE TO STAY!!!!!!

Brilliant work, nice company and all. Support the brand

The atmosphere is a bit odd in the pit lane this season. A lot of #KeepFightingMichael

Might as well look at it on TV brother. Until Michael makes recovery, there is no party there (behind the doors anyway, that for everybody).
