i thought jdm flares were kinda cheap too, but after some looking around they can be done to look pretty ok ...

I'm confused as to why you think you will need more than a 285mm wide rear tire (which is easily fit without going wide body in the rear)? If you are worried about straight line traction, install an LSD. Installing a "bigger wing" isn't going to do anything for traction unless you are going at speed around a race track. If you just want wide body because you like the way it looks then I can't fault you for that, but don't try and justify if as a performance modification on a street car. This is coming from somebody who daily drives a Boxster with 370whp, with an LSD, on 275mm rear tires (NT05's) and I only have mild traction issues in first gear. Also, is your car a 6speed car? If not, traction loss might go a long way to preserving the weak 5 speed transaxle.

Fair. Wideboy because I like the look, and can help justify it as performance. Same with wing :P

I'll be using a Boxster S 6 speed.
