I'm planning on driving up, where is the nepenthe restarunt?

Couple of miles before Big Sur going North. They open at 11:30 am for lunch.

Nepenthe is about 25 miles south of Carmel. If you're coming from O.C area your best route would be to take the 101 and take Route 46 West to Highway 1 towards Cambria.
Nepenthe Restaurant, Big Sur, California

Another must see is Rocky Point Rest. They are about 10 miles south of Carmel.
