Already registered. This will be my 2nd Parade and really enjoyed the 1st one.
I think Monterey is the perfect location for a Porsche Parade. Highway 1 to Carmel and Big Sur or Head North to Santa Cruz, Half Moon Bay or San Francisco/Bay Area.

I'm driving Sydney out (the CSS). Really looking forward to it. Should be tons of fun.

That will be a nice drive for you. One of the things I enjoyed most going to a Parade/Escape is getting there. We normally do a group drive.
We should see if we can do a 986 Forum lunch meet. We could drive on Highway 1 to Nepenthe Restaurant. Great drive and the Rest has great views.

My Boxster blew the water pump so I'll be driving the 914. It's copper colored. right now I'm in Cambria at the Cambria Palms; plan on leaving here by 10am and stopping at Nepenthe around 11:30 or so. Should be at Raggity Point around 11ish
Going to volunteering for the tours to Canepe Design and Big Sur, plan on staying at M6 in Marina.

Unfortunately I will have no time this year for such a long drive. It is a 4-day drive for us, like the one I did when I bought the car back in 2010 (drove from Santa Monica, CA to Ottawa, Canada). Hell of a trip. Really amazing drive. Next PCA one was also announced (the location) so definitely going to the 2015 one.

I'd like to see whether some of the Boxster owners would like to gather for lunch or other during Porsche Parade.
Our club stayed up there last year and found a good meeting place with good parkings.
The Kula Ranch Restraurant 3295 Dunes Road, Marina, CA 93933 is located on the ocean side of 101 in an area noted for it's sand dunes. Marina is a 10 min drive from Monterey. It's still early, I know; just wanted to throw that out

I'm game and I had the same idea. Let's keep this going untill then and we should go ahead and pick a meeting spot. My schedule for parade week is open since I've done those tours so many times locally.

Looks like this is your first post? Welcome to the forum.
Registration for the Parade is now over 1100. This is probably the record to date.

I will be there this weekend and Monday (Concour), who's driving up Highway 1 on Saturday? Meet at Ragged Point (where the fun curves begin)?

Pismo is 15 minutes from my house... I will probably hit the road by 10:00 and stop at Ragged Point first, just north of San Simeon (nice views), which should be around 11:00. Then Nepenthe should be about 2 1/2 to 3 hours from there. I will keep an eye out.

Man I'm tempted to drive south and meet you guys. Part of the fun going to Parade or Escape is the group drive there. With Parade in my backyard I only have to drive just over an hour and it's a routine drive for us here to Monterey. Drove to SLC Parade 2012, Flagstaff for Escape. It was a blast driving there as a group.
Hope to see you guys in Monterey.
I'll be in car #264

It's a 2008 Limited edition. 250 base and 250 S made for this run. The color is inspired from the GT3RS. The owners name is Lee from Illinois. He's mainly in the Boxster Register forum.
