Porsche and Personality.

Today while studying personality for the sake of target markets in my business class we took personality tests. I ended up with the ENTJ; after studying up on this i realized it was spot on with my personality, and also the stereotypical Porsche owner. Anyone here also an ENTJ or would like to drop food for thought on what you believe is a common personality type of the average Porsche owner.

The average Porsche owner:

* eats his schnitzel with spaetzele, not French fries.
* can heel and toe in Florsheim wingtips.
* runs with the bulls in Pamplona.
* drinks a vodka Martini shaken, not stirred.
* is fluent in three languages…………not British, though.
* would never wear knockoff Rayban Wayfarers.
* thinks Jeremy Clarkson is the anti-Christ.

I’m sure there are more; perhaps others will chime in.

Supposedly an n at all is rare... They do say that while extroverted ENTJ s tend to alienate themselves as few people meet their standards, possibly leading to an INTJ faulty result.

Are you referring to Porsche owners, or Torontonians? :D

I am ESPN!

Seriously, I am ESTP... reading the paragraph about this personality type was like reading the best description of myself anyone could create. Amazing instrument, really... through it, I discovered I am a verbal processor, meaning if I'm not in a conversation with someone, it's difficult for me to innovate and come up with my best ideas about ways to problem solve.

I'm betting there are a lot of extroverts and introverts that own Porsches. I'm also betting that the extroverts buy the flashy ones and don't keep them long and the introverts buy the more conservative models or older aircooled Porsches and keep them a long long time.

I'm an extrovert though, and I bought a base model boxster and I've owned it for 12 years. Go figure.

I did a quick online version and came back as INFJ

ENTJ here. Is it just porsche owners or the common population? Is the a server showing the percentages of the different personality types?

Porsche Chick 03-28-2014 10:44 AM

I'm an ENTP. ;)

I think the T (thinking) is what distinguishes a Porsche owner.

Here's the frequency of type : http://www.myersbriggs.org/my-mbti-personality-type/my-mbti-results/how-frequent-is-my-type.asp

Personally, I think these things are generally a waste of time. But it is good to know how product marketing people get their dirty knowledge about our habits

supposidly only 3 percent of the pop is ENTJ and we also on average make much more money haha.

I have taken the test many times - ENTP usualy though I have been ENTJ. Just what mood I'm in I guess.

ISTJ here. Probably stemming from a basic philosophy that people suck. Not you guys of course, but people in general, suck.

Nothing Personal: The questionable Myers-Briggs test | Science | theguardian.com

The MBTI has its uses, and I personally think it is a useful tool in personal discovery. However, I suggest that you look at some other points of view about the MBTI so that you can consider its limitations.

Haha I only take it is a slightly more reliable zodiac sign (which I don't trust at all) with only 16 catagories it's pretty hard to get the nail on the head lol
