I don't get it.
Why so many folks won't drive their Boxsters in the rain.
Wouldn't own a car that can't handle rain, with aplomb.

Or a pair of running shoes, either, for that matter.

Rain sounds good...even 32 degrees sounds good for northern Illinois. Over seventy inches thus far this winter...

+1! Heck, I remember driving in Palm Springs during partial flood 8-9 years ago with good standing water in the freeway and streets, and I am the only one going 70+ mph on the freeway safely and stabley (no hydroplaning)! All the crap suvs were slipping and sliding I really couldn't figure that one out, but that's Porsche engineering for you.

I did the EVO driving school (advanced course) in the most ridiculous rain I have ever been in still to this day. I was so sure they were going to cancel it... you could not see more than six feet in front of you. As soon as i get ther the guy says "Hey you're late! "
Man that was fun.
But on the highway and street in the rain I take it easy...
