Hi, there! Hate to resurrect an old thread, but did you ever figure out what was up with this?
Not 100% sure whether it's the same, but mine just recently went very suddenly to only blowing hot air. Doesn't matter what the temperature is set at, and it's not a low refrigerant issue so far as I know. It's not that it's blowing hair that isn't cold enough anymore, it's that it seems to be staying stuck on the same temperature setting regardless of what is actually set on the controls. And that temperature setting is hella hot. Fan control seems to work fine, and the deflector that moves air to different areas, as in the floorboard or the windshield, seems to also be working fine. I've definitely had foam spitting issues, but those pretty well ceased well before this happened.
