Tail Light vinyl

I have white Boxster S with chrome led tail lights.

And I`m planing to redesign them without changing, and need you advice.

Tail lights manufacturers are the same, I think to cover with red vinyl, how you think it will work?

And maybe you know manufacturer of good red vinyls for this job.

you might be able to pull it off. Most of the vinyls are not semi transparent. Try amazon and search for vinyl wrap. I have seen lots of different flavors of red. Good luck

I used transparent red vinyl over the orange of standard tail lights and it worked very well except because of the compound curves it's a real difficult to get the shape without creases!

Suncoast porsche sells red vinyl for 986 tails. I bought it to turn my tails all red. But im sure you ciuld cut the vinyl to whatever shape you want.

Here is the before and after. After on the right. The color is a more vibrant red but my finger print smudges were all over it since I had just put on the vinyl.
