I haven't watched the vid yet but I am looking forward to it. Tiff is a great driver and I love watching him drive the boxster to its full potential. Tiff and the folks at 5th gear love the boxster. It's nice to see a program like 5th gear where the people like Tiff actually do the commentary on the car as well test it on the track(unlike Top gear where the Stig is a totall mute). Clarkson may know cars and have more whit but he can't drive a car on a track....which is why Tiff is the better journalist. I watch Top Gear if I want entertainment and I watch 5th gear if I want a "real" drivers perspective.

awesome

That was a great video. I thought I was resolved to go ahead and buy the Boxster over the Z4 but now I'm not sure. I think the Boxster is still ahead in my book.

Yeah seen this one a while ago, they are comparing a 3.0 Z4 against the 2.7 987...

If you still think between the two I would go with the 987 S

Those are HIGHLY experienced drivers one being a former Formula One driver(from the 70's when there were REAL drivers). I HIGHLY doubt the average driver could keep a Z4 so close to a sure footed Boxster like that.

But I enjoyed the "much smoother Z4 gear box" comment!

btw, have you seen the resale values on the Z4? BMW loses that battle to Porsche big time.
