thx,

The setup weight 6.5lbs and saves close to 20lbs if you compare it to the original setup with the sound deadening carpet, original cover, and rear self.

I do still have one of these laying around in my parts if someone wants to go this route:

Painted arctic silver, passenger side has an adjustable sound port.

This is very cool. I'd love to get me one. Is there more noticeable heat from the engine?
Thanks.

I'm not sure if I'm just gonna sit this into two orders, those who want the clip fasteners and those who are okay with a screw fastener.

Tightbox: I still need to meet up and take a look at your setup. Your seats look crazy!
Development is a pain! Thanks for your effort!

If you are struggling getting them, that's what we do all day long here - contact me. Not specializing in fasteners lol but we are geared for any type of custom manufacturing requirements (metals and composites).

We can also anodize your fastener's head in any color and brand/etch them if you wish.

Luck mate

I just read 6 pages of posts and it looks great. The blue is the best colour IMO. Now about shipping. UK going to be an issue???

I'm in for one if not

I was the sixth poster on this thread with my hand up for one. Actually, I was forth as two postings before me were from the OP; Shehadehd I will even lose the rear compartment and speakers for it.

I have purchased two of the comfort top controls from Shehadehd. One for myself and one for my bother. And, he bailed me out when I accidentally deprogrammed one (don't ask). He is as honest as they come and damn talented.

My hand is still up for one of these.

Wow that's actually really good. Aside from adding an Optima battery, I don't see where you could drop that much weight. My GT3 seats probably shaved more but that required spending quiet a bit of money and weight savings wasn't the goal.

I don't have a glove box so my shelf is the only place to store things should the trunks lock me out. I keep a Cobra jump start battery there and some spare fuses. As far as sound, those speakers are not worth their weight. LOL.

Yup I'd be in for one as well. But something tells me he dropped the idea due to price. I wouldn't expect this kit to come cheap. These panel in the 1/4" thickness (genuine engineered lexan anyway) are not all that cheap :/ add the rubber seals, bolt kits, ouch.

Let's hope this comes back to life
