$29k would be a really good buy. I got that a number of years ago for my 89 C4 (it needed nothing and had about the same mileage). A 96 C2 is more desirable and easily worth more than $29k assuming the mileage is correct and it needs nothing major. The only downside is that not everyone is going to like the interior color. I happen to think it is a great color combo. I might offer him $28k assuming he expects you the negotiate and do a proper PPI and go from there. Good luck. The 993 is a great car and a good investment.
