FWIW, up here a 993 will run you $90 - $100K. I'd sell my left nut tomorrow to pay for a nice one at 29 large. Just sayin' :-)

I have decided (with some very strong persuasion from my financial planner...i mean wife) after buying and selling and LOSING MY ASS on my last boxster - 4 toy cars over the past 2 years - to pass on the 993.

HUGE Mistake I think, but I can only do what I can do. I am happy to have what I have and will find another some day. Talking with coreseller today - we both agree 928s are looking solid and coming up a little in value.

I also would love a 944 turbo. my son was named after Jake Ryan from Pretty in Pink (well that and because my grandpa was a Jake)... I will keep my eye out for one of those in great condition at a great price for sure...but for now that 993 is out there...

PS - did order some anthracite PORSCHE stripes for the sides of my box. did it on my last and loved the look...

Arctic silver and anthracite -- sounds good. Pist a pic (in another thread), please.

Will do. For next to nothing...450 bucks I am going to have the wheels done. Probably black... Can't find gunmetal grey center caps ...

Yours is a twin (except year) to the 993 in question on this thread, same color / with OE cups also.

Trimer, I spoke to Paul yesterday twice, sent him the selling info we talked about last night.

I would of pulled the trigger myself but after running the numbers (taxes, fees, enclosed transport 1000 miles) and tacking on the aforementioned $2k to $5k to get it up to date I decided to pass. If I were to get a second 993 I would of at least wanted a different color, it's a twin to mine also:

Excellent - thanks for helping him out! I would have pulled the trigger too, but apparently I have pulled the trigger a few too many times recently!
