Any ideas on this part

All

Got back from a quick ride and this was laying on the floor under the clutch/brake pedal. Any idea as to what it could be? And no, I do not believe it is part of Johnny Dangers gun, any part of the flux capacitor or a nipple ring.

Looks like a clip to activate motion detector for times you want the top down but the security of motion detection if someone reaches into the cockpit while you are away from the car.

Todd - When you figure it out, let me know. I found the same piece a few weeks ago on the floor of my '01S.

BTW - the speedster humps look great on the car - I'll post some pics one of these days.

I've been busy since we talked last. 2 new Porsche's in the stable.

I bought a 2002 Boxster S, Guards Red, black leather. 35k miles. Very slick car with lots of options.

I thought I was done for awhile when 3 days after I bought the red car I found an awesome '99 996. Black w/ Boxster red leather. Heated sport seats. M030. Full aero kit w/ the taco spoiler and 19" GT3 replica wheels. 82k miles. Just serviced. Only $18k! The window sticker shows $70.5 base w/ $25k of options! The guy just bought a 2014 Stingray and needed garage space.

I hate to see 996's get into Boxster price ranges, but it's a good deal when you are on the buying end!

Talk soon,

Rick

Well, I guess by today's terminology, yeah, that's what I mean. Expressions often don't mean the same thing as they did when I was younger.

Wingman works better on a couple of levels in this case

so to answer the original question - or one of the answers...

Whats a henweigh? I would think about 3 lbs?

Anyone have any idea on what that orange sort of spongey part is that fell from the underneath of dash area (I can only assume as it was sitting on the floor in my car).

We have figured out it isnt:

A Henweigh
Some old guys Pee Pee ring
Part of Johnny Dangers gun
A Nipple Ring
A Wingman

Anyone else?

Garage
Guess we need to send it to a forensics lab. I'm guessing it's some gasket that fell out of maybe the ac/heating? There is some duct work in that dash area.

It's all panels under there. Think about it.
