Painting rear of sport package seats

Has anyone tried to paint the rear of the sport kit seats? My factory silver finish is chipping away and it needs repair.

I was going to take the seats out and just mask everything off but taking the back off would be best if I could.

Thoughts?

Thanks

What color? Think about doing a wrap instead. People have these hardbacks painted all the time. Factory option, too. They look the bomb when matched to certail exterior colors.

I don't know yet haha. I'm thinking textured black, my paint color is the bright red color.

Are the backs easy to remove? Or do I take the seat out and spend an hour masking everything off ?

I'm interested in plastidip, only if I can get specific colors though. I mean, I'm set on spraying the back of the seat. Wrapping vinyl will show the divots and chunks that are missing from my silver factory finish.

I spose I'll just mask the leather and spray. Gonna do the rollbar while I'm in there. Anyone know of the best way to get at it? Is it different than just masking the hell out of the interior?
