dipstick tube

Hello.....new to forum. seems that the top of dipstick tube has slipped down below plastic outlet hole. How to pull back up. looks to have tabs that hold in place? Many thanks in advance.

I don't know. Try searching the forum for "dipstick tube repair" or "dipstick tube replacement" or something along those lines. ...or perhaps someone else can comment.

kjc........Thats oil (fill) tube. I'm talking dipstick tube. or more like a small hollow mesh type cable that the dipstick inserts in.
